About Us

Dr Anjana Herath is a dedicated General Practitioner with over a decade of experience in primary care, emergency medicine and surgical procedures, delivering high-quality patient care with compassion and expertise. He has been practising as a GP since 2010 and has worked in Australia for the past six years, following extensive experience in Sri Lanka and Oman. Dr Herath graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, in 2010. Early in his career, he served as a demonstrator at the university’s medical faculty, mentoring medical students and supporting their academic development. His professional journey includes working in hospitals as an emergency medicine doctor and as a medical officer in medical and surgical wards, broadening his expertise in both acute and chronic patient care. Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Herath has completed various courses, including Focused Psychological Strategies (RACGP), Practical Dermatoscopy Program (Australian College of Dermatologists) and Surgical Dermatology Workshop (RACGP), enhancing his expertise in mental health treatment, skin condition diagnosis and management, and minor skin procedures and surgical interventions. Dr Herath is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centred care, particularly in mental health, dermatology and chronic disease management. Outside of medicine, he enjoys photography, playing badminton and cricket, embracing an active and creative lifestyle.

Over 20 years of experience Dr Jayasinghe who gained MBBS in Sri Lanka, moved to Australia in 2014 She has worked as a medical officer in intensive care unit and anaesthetics in major hospital in London, UK. She has been working as a general practitioner in Geelong since 2017.
